Happy Chinese New Year’s Eve, everyone! Sydney’s weather has been quite gloomy recently. When the sky finally clears up, I have to do a quick outfit post, and of course – take my new lace-up shoes addition out for a walk!
Sydneysiders would have noticed the purple bloom of Jacaranda is in full swing at the moment. The weather might have been rainy all week, but that didn’t stop the city from being awash by these bright purple patches. And the profusion of the flowers inspired me to build today’s outfit!
Time flies! One second, we are celebrating the beginning of a new year; and the next, it is already the end of March! For those who are in Australia, can you believe autumn is already here? I always find this transitional period very difficult to figure out. Tank tops? Too cold. Jackets? Too hot. Ahead is how I fight this tricky season with items I have curated over the past couple months.
Just a quick mid-week update – the other day I was in Sydney CBD with Mr. D, and it suddenly struck us how we have always overlooked these interesting back alleys in the city. Somehow these blue murals in Chinatown made a very good match with what I was wearing!
Last week has been very hectic for both Mr. D and me. After taking it slow for a while, I am finally back to business. That means I need to be better with time management, and not to give myself excuses to stop exercising and writing my blog. Speaking of which, this post was supposed to be done by the middle of last week. Guess I really need to work harder on juggling my time.
As much as I enjoy dressing up, there are days I just want to leave the house in pyjamas. Mix-and-matching for a refreshing new look VS five more minutes of sleep? I always choose the later. On a lazy day like this, I will save my brain cells and just go to my collection of jumpsuits.
