We had experienced quite a drastic drop in temperature here in Sydney last week. It almost felt like Sydney has skipped Autumn this year and went directly into Winter this year! That being said, I still managed to dash out one last fall-ish outfit two weeks ago to catch a fashion show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia Weekend Edition.
Since my work place has moved to a new office, I have been doing more walking these days. While I tend to pair these print sneakers with black or solid colour items to commute, today I would like to mix them with other prints.
When I spotted this dress in store, I thought to myself how good it would look to be worn as a denim waistcoat. But I am glad I took it into the change room and try it as it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise!
It has been a while for me to do an outfit post. So here I am, sharing my favourite sartorial colour combo – black and white with you.
Last Saturday was my birthday. Surprisingly, I didn’t do any last minute shopping for it this year. Instead, I took out a shirt dress I have acquired recently and styled it for the day.
I always have a soft spot for lace-up details in shoes. Therefore, this year’s lace-up pointy-toes flats and heels trend is right up my alley! For those who are following my Instagram, you might have seen these beauts already. Yes, these babies are (one of) the latest addition to my growing lace-up shoes family!
It was my birthday a while ago. For some reason, I have totally forgotten about doing my birthday dress hunt earlier (classic procrastinator). Luckily, The Iconic has come to rescue and delivered this dress on my birthday morning.
Getting dressed up in newbies is fun. But on a lazy day, the last thing on my mind is curating some next-level outfit. This is the time I turn to my monotone items in the closet.
On the last day of this challenge, I was inspired to create a look with this cape like blouse. I always have a soft spot for capes and ponchos since I was a little girl. They remind me of those ancient martial arts masters and superheroes (Another proof of how boyish I am…), and of course, Harry Potter! And those who are fighting so hard in Hong Kong for what we believe are superheroes to me.
On day 4 of this challenge, I decided to wear the symbolic colour of the movement – yellow.
