Last Saturday was my birthday. Surprisingly, I didn’t do any last minute shopping for it this year. Instead, I took out a shirt dress I have acquired recently and styled it for the day.
Happy International Women’s Day, everyone! To be honest, I can’t even remember when the last time I wore sneakers for non-fitness activities was. Since I was trying to motivate myself to walk more (hello, Fitbit goal 10,000 steps a day), I went on a quest to find chic and comfy sneakers. And I found Superga.
Nothing like a tried-and-true staple in your wardrobe. When you can barely pull yourself out of bed, it’s good to know there are some oldies but goodies you can fall back on, aka hit the snooze button for another five minutes.
No matter how ever-evolving our closets are, there are some staples that always stay, and a good old pair of black flats (or mid-heels if you are a heels addict like me) is one of them. While it is perfectly fine to stick to your plain black ballerinas, I have rounded up a few alternatives that prove this staple can be functional yet fun.
Some of you may already know my closet is 50 Shades of Blue. So you can only imagine how excited I am about this year’s Pantone colour – Serenity (sorry, Rose Quartz). I have been delaying in writing about this lovely colour because I wanted to share something that is cute, versatile, and most importantly, affordable. For those who haven’t worked out how to wear this Pantone Colour of the Year 2016 yet, look no further. Click ahead and join me in the world of Serenity.
Black is a colour I can always count on. When all else fails, just give me something black and I will be OK. Therefore, I picked a black striped T-shirt dress to kick start my busy week.
Happy Valentine’s Day! There is something the off shoulder cut just speaks to me – it’s sexy but not as into your face as a deep V plunge neckline, perfect for going on a date.
A lot of you know about the tradition of wearing red on Chinese New Year. Since red is not really my colour, I picked something bright instead.
Happy Chinese New Year’s Eve, everyone! Sydney’s weather has been quite gloomy recently. When the sky finally clears up, I have to do a quick outfit post, and of course – take my new lace-up shoes addition out for a walk!
I can’t believe it’s already the last day of January. In two-week time, it will be Valentine’s Day! If you are like me who have been in a relationship for a long time, you have most likely exhausted (and recycled) all the regular socks and jocks options. And if you are really like me, you probably haven’t got anything for your man yet. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. Ahead are some gift ideas to shop for your special man this Valentine’s Day.
