To be honest, I couldn’t believe I haven’t been blogging for over a year! 2017 has been a challenging yet amazing year – new job, destination wedding, travels, etc. One thing didn’t change was my annual date with Raffles College of Design and Commerce – I attended the college’s graduate exhibition and runway show in December, and boy, there were so many cute things I wanted to wear for the New Year!

Current Favourites: Wrap Skirt, Bucket Bag, and Booties
It took me a little longer (ok, a lot longer) to get settled in my new place and get back to blogging (think not having Internet for over three weeks thanks to NBN). But here I am, sharing some of my current favourites with you all whilst watching the Olympic Games in the comfort of my own home. 😛
Last Dash of Fall: Voluminous Midi Skirt and Leather Jacket
We had experienced quite a drastic drop in temperature here in Sydney last week. It almost felt like Sydney has skipped Autumn this year and went directly into Winter this year! That being said, I still managed to dash out one last fall-ish outfit two weeks ago to catch a fashion show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia Weekend Edition.
Raffles International Showcase at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia 2016
Phew, after a big weekend last week I am finally back to sit in front of my laptop and start updating my blog. For those who are in Australia, you have probably noticed Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia (MBFWA) had wrapped up for another year last Friday. This year MBFWA has changed their usual Spring/Summer showcase to Resort to reflect the warmer Australian climate. Although I failed to make it to the shows during MBFWA due to work commitment this year, I managed to go to Raffles College of Design and Commerce pop-up showroom launch at The Design Residency to talk to some of the most promising emerging designers in Australia about their resort collections.
Op Shop Treasure: Tie Waist Knit Dress
I like checking out op shops from time to time. I may not always find what I love but when I do it’s like hitting a jackpot, just like this tie waist knit dress I wore in today’s post.
Print on Print: Adidas Originals Rita Ora ZX Flux and Bomber Jacket
Since my work place has moved to a new office, I have been doing more walking these days. While I tend to pair these print sneakers with black or solid colour items to commute, today I would like to mix them with other prints.
Borrowed from the Boys: Jumpsuit and Tie
Hi everyone! For those who are in Australia, hope you are all having a lovely long weekend! When it comes to weekend dressing, I tend to rely on items that I can throw-on-and-go but still look pull-together. This is when jumpsuits come to play.
Zip Through Denim Dress
When I spotted this dress in store, I thought to myself how good it would look to be worn as a denim waistcoat. But I am glad I took it into the change room and try it as it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise!
Stripey Sunday and World Recycle Week
I love restyling old items to create new outfits. This top and skirt have been worn separately for numerous times but when paired together they create an interesting stripe on stripe effect.
Black and White Details: Asymmetric skirt and Dressy Sneakers
It has been a while for me to do an outfit post. So here I am, sharing my favourite sartorial colour combo – black and white with you.
