Spring Cleanse: La Roche-Posay Sensi White Foaming Cream

tellmeyblog-la-roche-posay-sensi-white-foaming-cream-2With spring is finally here in Australia, it’s time to do a spring cleanse with your beauty cabinet. One of the few things I have replaced is my facial cleanser.

Transitional skin care products could be quite tricky. It is a relief to see that the La Roche-Posay Sensi White Foaming Cream is described as a `deep cleansing brightening foaming cream for sensitive Asian skin’.

To me, whitening products mean so much more than just getting fairer skin. They should also help your skin look more brightened and even-toned. So let’s see if this cleanser does these for me!

Here’s my just woke-up face…

Take a nut-size amount of cream in the palm and lather with lukewarm water until turning into a rich and creamy foam. Apply the foam to the face and gently massage the skin. Rinse thoroughly with clear water afterwards. The cleanser is very easy to lather and it carries a light soothing fragrance, which is always a plus.

Ta-da! A clean, brightened and even-toned face with no irritation at all!

The LHA (a kind of salicylic acid) in its formula sloughs off over-pigmented dead cells and smooth skin’s surface, leaving the skin to look cleaner and brighter.

Although my skin feels quite supple and comfortable, the cleanser makes my face feel a bit dry compared to the Elemis White Brightening Even Tone Cleanser. But given its very affordable price tag (RRP $27.99) and we are moving towards warmer weather, I’d say it’s still a good choice for this transitional season.

Do you change up your beauty staples each season?
