For those who have been following me on Instagram might have already noticed I am in the middle of moving; hence, the few and sparse updates on blog these days. But that doesn’t mean I have forgotten about my blog. In fact, quite far from it as I have accumulated a fair amount of content I’d like to share with you like this Marvis duo here!
Saying both Mr. D and I love Marvis toothpaste is an understatement. We love the Aquatic Mint flavour of Marvis so much that we found it very difficult to go back to other toothpaste after using it.
So in a recent visit to gentSac’s store at The Galeries (previously reviewed here), I bought both the Marvis Mouthwash and toothpaste as part of Mr. D’s anniversary gift. Only this time I went with the Whitening Mint flavour for the toothpaste.
Like its Aquatic Mint counterpart, the Whitening Mint toothpaste is very refreshing. It’s so minty that it will wake you up in an instant in the morning. The only down side of this one is it tastes a little like baking soda, most likely due to its whitening effect. While it does whiten our teeth, we will probably go back to our beloved Aquatic Mint next time.
The real hero product I wanted to talk about today is the Concentrated Strong Mint Mouthwash. I remembered how its gorgeous classic packaging had caught my eyes the second I set foot in store. When I found out it’s a Marvis Mouthwash, I knew I had to take it home.
The real mouthwash bottle might not look much. But this mouthwash is in concentrated form so it actually lasts much longer than it looks. It is recommended to dilute 1 part of mouthwash in 4 parts of water for a 30-second rinse.
I found the peppermint flavour blended really beautifully with aromatic herbs to deliver a very refreshing sensation in your mouth. To be honest, I am usually not a big fan of mouthwashes as I find them taste funny and dry up my mouth very quickly. But this is not the case of Marvis Mouthwash. Thanks to the alcohol-free formula, it is very comfortable to use! Definitely a must-try if you’re into mouthwashes.
Have you tried any of the Marvis products? If so, which one is your favourite?
