The Parcel Autumn Edit

tellmeyblog - the parcel autumn edit (1)The Autumn Edit of The Parcel came to me last month, lining up perfectly with my birthday. I have to say this one got even better than their Summer Edit! So click ahead and discover what the Marie Claire team has selected for us.

In my humble opinion, this one is better than the last one because most of the items came in regular sizes. I am always reluctant to try things in sample sizes as it won’t allow me enough time to play with the products thoroughly.

Estee Lauder New Dimension Shape + Fill Expert Serum
According to the description, this award-winning serum can smooth and plump the skin with proven in two weeks by using its breakthrough shaping technology combined with pro-collagen complex. I will definitely give it a play later.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water 125ml (Full Size)
This multi-tasking product is definitely a darling among the beauty circle last year. It does a pretty good job in removing my face makeup but it isn’t as impressive when it comes to the eye department. I use it to wipe off my face makeup after I come home from work as a quick fix, and do a thorough facial cleanse later in the shower. A lot of people compare it to the famous Bioderma Micelle Solution.  As someone who has used both, I can definitely see the resemblance – the packaging, the name, the multi-function, and they are both fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive skins. However, this one from Garnier smells a little funny to me. So I probably won’t re-buy this one.

MOR Emporium Classics Triple-Milled Soap in Blood Orange (Full Size)
This bar soap smells so good that you will smell a very sweet aroma the second you open the box of The Parcel. The triple-milled soap is scented with blood orange and blended with jasmine, rose and lily. Since I don’t really use bar soap, I have given this lovely soap to a friend.

O.P.I Nail Lacquer (Full Size)
I don’t think it needs me to say how good O.P.I. is. Subscribers are supposed to receive one of the 10 best-selling shades to try. The one I received is Suzi’s Hungary Again!, which is a very cute pink. As I don’t wear pink, this will probably go to a friend as well.

CROP Nature Pure Macadamia Oil (Full Size)
Another multi-tasking product in the box. This beauty oil can be used as a facial cleanser or a moisturiser for skin, hair and nails. Although the concept sounds amazing, I am not completely sold. You have to use a cleanser to remove the oil if you are using it as a facial cleanser which feels kind of silly. I have used several different cleansing oils before but none required the use of a separate cleanser. So I would say this one doesn’t do it for me.

GILDED CAGE Unleashed Lipstick (Full Size)
This is a lipstick brand I wanted to try for a while. Subscribers will receive one of three shades. The one I got is #107 Sparkling Mauve, and I will do a full review on it later.

  1. This box looks awesome! How much is it? I agree about small sample sizes, you need to be able to try something at least a few times to know if you like it. One of the reasons I love Glossybox so much is because you receive full sized or at least luxury sized products.
Great post. Just followed you on bloglovin and Insta btw.
