Mid-Week Pamper: Bobbi Brown Radiance Boost Mask

DSC02398With weekend is just around the corner, it’s time for some mid-week pamper. Today I am going to show you how to invigorate your skin in just five minutes with this Bobbi Brown Radiance Boost Mask.

I received this Bobbi Brown Radiance Boost Mask (RRP $65) as a birthday gift from a close friend. It is temporarily sold out on their official Aussie site but you can also find it at Myer or David Jones.

It is an exfoliating mask. Even though the walnut grains are quite fine, I will still say don’t use it more than once a week. Last thing you want is to over exfoliate and hurt your skin.

Apply it on damp skin and leave it on 2-5 minutes. When the mask is on, I can feel a lukewarm sensation on my face. The citrusy scent from the orange oil in its formula makes it very energising to use.

Rinse off with warm water while gently massaging skin in circular motion. This is the time to take advantage of the walnut grains and use them to remove dead skin cells and improves microcirculation.

My skin tone is more even after the application. Usually my skin will be quite dry after using masks with Kaolin Clay. But this one contains a combination of algae extract and sodium hyaluronate that works to balance the skin’s moisture level, leaving my skin feeling smooth and supple afterwards.

My only complaint about this mask is the walnut grains are superfine which means some of them may stick to the hair around my face and it could be quite difficult to get rid of them. Nothing can’t be solved by a headband though.

For five minutes and you get smooth and even-toned radiant skin.  This one is a total keeper!

How often do you exfoliate your skin? And what products are you using for the job at the moment?

    • Awww, that’s very sweet of you to say that. Yes, the superfine walnut grain is a bit difficult to get rid of during removal but the product itself is beautiful. 😉
