Something Green and Neutral

cotton on t-shirt dress and sambag leopard print pony heels (2)Nothing like a tried-and-true staple in your wardrobe. When you can barely pull yourself out of bed, it’s good to know there are some oldies but goodies you can fall back on, aka hit the snooze button for another five minutes.

Today’s outfit is created with some neutral colour items I have collected over the last few years. The only newbie here is the T-shirt dress I picked up at the current Cotton On sale (also worn the black and white stripe version here).

I see leopard print shoes as a neutral. Its colour blends in nicely with the neutral tone family while its pattern adds a punch to an outfit, which was exactly what I needed for this ensemble.

What about you? What are the items you can always rely on?

  1. I’m with you on this one. I think that, unlike alot of things in life, it’s good to wake up and know that there is always something – an outfit, that you can turn back to no matter your mood and that’ll help tremendously.

This is such a simple and beautiful look. I love it – it’s something I’d wear myself.
