Valentine’s Day Gifts for Guys

1454219788360I can’t believe it’s already the last day of January. In two-week time, it will be Valentine’s Day! If you are like me who have been in a relationship for a long time, you have most likely exhausted (and recycled) all the regular socks and jocks options. And if you are really like me, you probably haven’t got anything for your man yet. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. Ahead are some gift ideas to shop for your special man this Valentine’s Day.

Fitbit Blaze (RRP $329.95)

Wearable fitness devices are on the rise. Combined it with the functions of a sweet smartwatch? You got yourself a winner. Fitbit Blaze is all that, plus a sleek and stylish design. It also comes with metal and leather watch bands that will make it wearable for every occasion in your man’s life. It is at pre-order stage at the moment, but every guy I have talked to is really into good smartwatches. Trust me, your man will be happy to wait for this one.

The Daily Edited Monogrammed Black Double Card Holder (RRP $59.95)

A monogrammed leather card holder is not news but this one comes in Saffiano Leather, aka more scratch-resistant than his used-to-be-buttery-soft-but-now-very-beat-up one! There are 9 different colours and blind emboss to choose from. Oh, and have I mentioned they also offer a wide variety of complimentary gift cards you can choose to go with his new leather good? Definitely save you some trouble in picking a card!

Also adore this midnight navy one (RRP $49.95).

Oxo Locking Tongs with Nylon Head (RRP $29.95) and King of the Grill by Ross Dobson (RRP $39.99)

I don’t know if you’ve noticed a lot of guys are into cooking these days. Even if they are not, somehow they bond with their barbecues! So give him the tools to become a true barbecue master!

Netflix Subscription for a Year (varies from AUD $98.89 to AUD $164.89)

If he hasn’t signed up for Netflix already, this is a no-brainer! He can watch shows and movies on any of his device or cast it to his TV. He can create his profile on Netflix and the site will tailor show recommendations for him. My advice is to go for the Standard Plan so you can have two screens watching shows at the same time. That way you will get to watch your Downton Abbey when he is too drawn into Top Gear. Throw in a Google Chromecast (shop here, here or here) if he hasn’t owned one already. Movie dates, anyone?

Woodlore Cedar Combination Shoe Trees (~AUD $35.54)

Help your better half to keep his favourite pair of dress shoes in mint condition. These shoe trees help to maintain the shape of footwear much better than your regular paper crumple. The aromatic cedar wood absorbs and draws moisture out of the shoes, keeping them fresh and clean. If he has a couple pairs of nice leather shoes, grab a couple sets of these for him for they are really inexpensive and your shoe rack will thank you later.
