Holiday Lace Ups

DSC00178I love dressing for holidays as I can really go all-out and won’t get judged. This cobalt blue colour just got my name written all over it. Plus, what’s a better time to wear a lace dress than the holiday season?

This dress is cut in a boxy shape with layers of laces draped at its skirt. The skirt is lined but the bodice isn’t, so I wore a same colour cami underneath to attend a family party. But for going out, a plain nude colour bra will work just fine.

Shoes-wise of course I was wearing my current favourite – lace-up flats! These babies from Wittner are in a lovely light grey colour (also comes in black). The 1cm wedge bottom makes these unbelievably comfy. They are definitely one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. I’ve been living in these since I have got them a couple weeks ago!

However, these run very small. I have tried on my usual size 37 in store and my feet felt tightly squeezed, so I sized up and took size 38 instead. I noticed the grey ones are sold out online, but I saw them went on crazy Boxing Day sale in some of the stores a couple days ago. Otherwise, the black ones are just as cute.

Moving back to the outfit, I finished off the styling with accessories in blue and white colour schemes. A lady-like lace up combo for the holidays, done.

Now give me some NYE outfit inspo – what have you been wearing this holiday season?
