When it comes to mascara, Asian brands usually work better for me. My natural lashes lack a curl to begin with, and a lot of the Western brand mascaras weigh them down further. So when I heard about Rimmel London new 24HR Supercurler Volume & Curl Mascara comes with a built-in lash curler power, I knew I had to try it.
I received this mascara for review several weeks ago, and have been using it ever since.
The curve brush of the mascara is quite big but it won’t dispense too much mascara fibre in each stroke, making it easy to build on the number of coats you desire. The curve shape of the brush also fits the shape of the eye quite well for mistake-free application.
Here are the `before’ and `after’ shots.
The formula is lightweight and clump-free, which delivers a lovely natural lash look that I really like. Although it does give my stubborn lashes a pretty good lift, it is definitely not as dramatic as a 90-degree curve or holds up for 24 hours as it claims.
It smudges very little after a whole day of wear, so I am pretty happy to incorporate it into my makeup routine.
This mascara is available at RRP $17.95 at Priceline, Priceline Pharmacy, Chemist Warehouse, Target, Kmart, BIG W, selected pharmacies and selected Coles and Woolworths.
What are the most important criteria when you are shopping for a new mascara? And have you tried this new one from Rimmel London?
*Thanks Rimmel London AU for providing the product sample, but the opinions is mine as always.
