Going All Green: Culotte Jumpsuit with Print Details

DSC08986To me, mix-and-matching is everything. Let’s be real – who has the money to buy new clothes every day? I wore this culotte jumpsuit to a bloggers brunch last month, and have decided to take it out for another run a couple days ago.

Green is one of my favourite colours, and I was going all out this time!

One simple way to mix prints is to wear them as accessories. I find this trick very useful, especially when creating a HR-approved attire. The stripes on the men’s tie I wore as a belt and the floral print on my heels added interesting yet subtle details to the jumpsuit.

If my last attempt with this jumpsuit has bought out my inner cool girl, then bringing in all the greens on the colour wheel has translated a retro and feminine vibe. It is fun to see how styling can bring new life to old items. Isn’t it why fashion is so much fun?

    • Thank you, Bing! I have that tie for ages, and I used to wear it as a regular tie. Thought it would be fun to recycle some of my old beloved items and wear them in a new way. 🙂
