Spring Heat: Textures in White with Snake Print Details

DSC07778Hi everyone! Hope those who are in Sydney had enjoyed a lovely long weekend! Since I have done a monochromatic black look in my last outfit post, it only seems fair to do an all-white one this time. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I love white. The colour white just spells clean, crisp, and refreshing to me. Itโ€™s also a must-have colour for spring and summer for very practical reasons โ€“ it catches much less heat than darker colours (itโ€™s 36ยฐC here in Sydney the moment I am writing)! If I were less clumsy with my food and drinks, I’d probably wear white a lot more!

Just like its black counterpart, wearing white doesn’t have to be boring. Inspired by some of the recent runway shows, I tried to play with different textures in white to create a casual look here. Don’t chuck away your athleisure white crop tops from the last season just yet. They can still come in handy when pairing with some high-waist shorts or skirts this spring and summer. Add some nice black-and-white snake print heels as the final touch, and we are good to go on our brunch date!

  1. I love the all-white look–but seldom wear it because I worry about white clothes showing dirt. But I’m making progress toward incorporating white into my wardrobe. In recent years I’ve started to wear white jeans.
