Transitional Style: Print Sweatshirt and Polka Dot Heels

DSC07389Sydney’s weather is capricious. Earlier this week I was wearing T-shirts and shorts, and the next thing I knew, it was windy days back in town. My sweaters are therefore working overtime at the moment before they can be put in the back of my closet for a good long rest till next year fall. To embrace this last chill in the air, I decided to re-style those cute polka dot heels from my last outfit post.

I wanted to go for a more feminine look this time but still stay true to who I am. So I paired those heels with my trusty light blue full midi skirt and a funky print sweatshirt. Just to add a little bit of an edge to this girly look. 😉

For the rest of my outfit, I tried to keep the colour palette more Spring-ish by introducing a light pastel tone statement necklace and a nude colour clutch to the mix.

I find keeping all the metal wares in the same colour tends to make an outfit look sleek and clean. I do mix metal tones from time to time, but I generally prefer gold on gold or silver on silver. And today I went for the latter.

Here’s how I dress for a casual brunch on a windy Spring weekend. What would you wear for yours?
