Cape Town 2.0: Red, Black and Blue

DSC05527Just a quick update before hitting weekend – Sydney’s weather has been getting warmer these days, which makes it the perfect weather to ditch the heavy-weight overcoats and swap for lighter toppers – at least when the sun is out.

I love capes – I always have, and I always will. Even though Mr. D absolutely loathes them (nor he understands why girls will drape their jackets over their shoulders), I am constantly on the lookout for another cute cape-y item to buy. I got this check blazer from Boohoo last year. It wasn’t of the best quality but the print is quite versatile and it adds a splash of colour to my otherwise all blue/greenish wardrobe.

Sometimes capes may make our upper part look bulky and unflattering, especially for bustier girls. Therefore, I tend to go for slimmer cut bottoms to balance it out the A-line silhouette.
