There is a reason I don’t blog about beauty as often as I do with outfits – I like to test my beauty products repeatedly before I write anything about them. I was lucky enough to be sent three samples of Rimmel London’s new Oh My Gloss! range in May, and I simply can’t keep myself from wearing them ever since!
The three glosses I have received are:
Top – #100 Love Bug
Middle – #150 Glossaholic
Bottom – #500 Ooh La La
As I am quite late to the review game of this range, I’d like to focus on how I incorporate these lovely shades into different looks.
Love Bug is the sheerest out of the three. It is very shimmery with the slightest hint of pink – perfect to be used as a highlight or top coat layer with other lippies. It also comes in handy when you are going for heavier eye make-up or pretending to be an off-duty pop star (like I did here) as it gives you just the right amount of shine.
Glassaholic is a very cute bubblegum pink which is great for everyday wear. It looks quite natural on my lips but I think it will look even better on girls with cool undertones.
The feisty Ooh La La has totally changed my mind on fuchsia lippies. It is so much easier to wear than I have expected! With one layer, you will get a juicy pop of pink hue for your hot dinner date.
With two layers, it will give you those bold and sexy lips like Rita Ora’s you’ve always dreamed about!
Thanks to the Argan Oil and Vitamin E in the formula, all the three glosses are very moisturising and comfy to wear. I love how they are non-sticky, high-shine, and lightweight to wear. My only complaint is that the two lighter colours (Love Bug and Glassaholic) don’t last as long as the more pigmented Ooh La La. But overall, the Oh My Gloss! lip glosses are of great value and I am very happy with them. The Oh My Gloss! range also comes in five other fabulous shades for AUD $13.95 each only!
Would you like to try this new lip gloss range from Rimmel London? And which colour is your favourite?
*Thanks Rimmel London AU for providing the product samples, but the opinions is mine as always.
