When I was in my early 20s, I was all about lip glosses. Lipsticks just sounded like something mum would wear (sorry, Mum!). But I have gradually eased into the lipstick world a couple years ago, and became a lipstick kinda girl. Thanks to my work, I have always been surrounded by lovely beauty junkies and exposed to gorgeous products. Ahead are three lipsticks I swear by after millions of trials and errors.
Sydney’s weather is very gloomy these days. Therefore, I tried to light up my mood by clashing some prints.
When I was in the mall shopping for a new body moisturiser several weeks ago, a huge poster at The Body Shop has caught my eyes. It said `Italian Summer Fig’. And before I knew what it was about, my legs have already started running on their own.
Hello everyone! Some of you have probably been sick of seeing these Nutella doughnut ball milkshakes in your social media feeds. I have also posted it on my Instagram but wanted to do a more detailed review. So, click ahead, and let’s chow down! 😉
Right now, the biggest trend for flats is lace-up pointy-toes. It doesn’t need me to say how those cute shoes from Aquazzura, Michael Kors, Jimmy Choo, and Tibi have been flooding magazine pages and our Instagram feeds. It’s the perfect hybrid of comfort and style! But for those who aren’t ready to splurge (or who want them in every single colour available), look no further, ahead are my review on these pretty lace-ups from Boden as well as a round-up on other affordable options out there.
My quest for button-down shirts is always a struggle. As a busty girl, nine out of ten times I will end up in two situations when trying to fit myself into a store-bought button-down – peek-a-boo or potato sack. Hence, I was quite reluctant to jump on this denim shirt dress trend no matter how much I adore those cute indigo numbers. My mind didn’t change till I saw this fringed denim shirt dress on Boohoo.
Happy Sunday! I hope you are all having a lovely weekend so far. Speaking of weekends, Yum Cha is definitely one of the most classic family activities for Hongkongers to do on Sundays. I was so excited the famous Hong Kong Michelin-starred dim sum restaurant, Tim Ho Wan, has finally hit Sydney. Ahead was my first visit to their Chatswood branch with Mr. D a while ago.
Just a quick update before hitting weekend – Sydney’s weather has been getting warmer these days, which makes it the perfect weather to ditch the heavy-weight overcoats and swap for lighter toppers – at least when the sun is out.
Who finds waking up in the morning difficult? I do! Sometimes I just wish I could keep hitting the snooze button. Unfortunately, those extra precious 10 minutes of sleep are just not long enough to hide my tired eyes. That was why I got so excited when I heard about Rimmel London’s Wonder’full Wake Me Up Mascara, and decided to try it out myself!
I’ve been literally living in two pairs of busted knee cap skinny jeans for the last six months. It was good to re-discover these old ripped jeans while I was tidying my closet the other day. I haven’t been wearing them for such a long time that they almost feel like a new purchase to me!
