Wow, I can’t believe I haven’t been updating my blog for over a month! To ease myself into writing again after almost two months of madness (and laziness), I’d like to start with a quick update before tackling the photos galore from Fashion Week Australia (which took place in mid-April…).
Yes, winter is coming (not just in Game of Thrones) but that doesn’t mean we have to bid our beloved midi skirts farewell. Pair it with a longline wool-blend coat, and you can go a long way with all your midi skirts in colder days.
I know I am late to the mules game but for a long time I really thought they should never come back, not even if they were with Carrie Bradshaw (sorry Carrie, you know I still love you). But thanks to my bestie, Pearl Girl, who has somehow convinced me to give this trend a go. So I muttered up my courage and got these Sol Sana Liza Mules. I love how the soft light grey suede juxtaposes with the white wooden stacked heel, and the two colours inspired me for today’s outfit!
Fit-wise, I went with my normal size 37 – the length fits me really well but the width runs a bit too big for me – which did give me a blister on my big toe from rubbing. However, they are quite easy to walk in and go with many outfits. So I am going to invest some soles and see how it goes.
What do you think about the mules trend? Yay or Nay?
