How to Transition Your Summer Staples into Fall

DSC05470Time flies! One second, we are celebrating the beginning of a new year; and the next, it is already the end of March! For those who are in Australia, can you believe autumn is already here? I always find this transitional period very difficult to figure out. Tank tops? Too cold. Jackets? Too hot.  Ahead is how I fight this tricky season with items I have curated over the past couple months.

Crop tops and midi skirts might be your summer staples, but that doesn’t mean they have to be packed away in fall. I love this floral crop top from Isla by Talulah. This relaxed cut top is made of a thin neoprene fabric and black mesh, which gives it a sporty vibe and makes it perfect for hotter days. Yet, the beautiful orchid print adds a feminine touch to the top. When temperature takes a dip at night, throw on a long line vest and you will be good to go.

Lately, I have been wearing these ZARA loafers quite a lot. They are not as chunky as flatforms but still thick enough to make me feel like I am wearing sneakers. Fit wise, I took my regular size 37 but they tend to run a half size to a full size bigger. Nothing can’t be solved with soles though. I highly recommend those who are looking for edgier flats for work to have a look at their local ZARAs.
