Floral Print Soft Trench Styled for Work

DSC04904Black is undoubtedly the most common colour for 9-to-5 living. And to maximise our snooze time in the morning? A black top with a black pencil skirt is such a no-brainer combo. But don’t you sometimes just wish your everyday go-tos look more exciting? Today I tried to revise my regular workwear with a newly purchased print soft trench.

I recently bought this floral print trench from Dotti for AUD $19.95. The original price was AUD $89.95! As a busty girl, I tend to avoid waterfall jacket in general. But this one somehow fits me very well. And for its sale price, it could be my very first trial with the soft trench trend.

I usually wear UK/AU 8 or 10, and size 8 of this one fits perfectly. I noticed it is sold out online, but you may still be able to find it in store.

Since the trench is such an eye-catching piece, the rest of my styling is kept relatively simple. These Cooperative ankle boots was another great find in post-Christmas sales. I ordered my normal US size 7, and they fit like a glove! Their chunky 6-cm heels are very stable and walkable with no breaking-in required! For those who work in more conservative offices, some classic solid black heels would do too.
