It has been almost a month since New Year and how are your resolutions going? Since the beginning of last year, I’ve vowed to exercise more and surprisingly, I did! This year, I would like to stick to it, and (hopefully) out-do myself. But sometimes a cute workout wardrobe is all a girl needs to keep being motivated. It just makes all that sweat and sore seem less intimidating and tiring. Ahead are some stylish yet practical workout gear I am eyeing on these days.
Growing up with parents who constantly stress on the importance of fresh produce, I always have a soft spot for naughty food like instant noodles and fried chicken (it’s perfectly normal to crave for something you can’t get, right?). And to soothe my craving, Mr. D and I decided to try Arisun in the CBD.
Black is undoubtedly the most common colour for 9-to-5 living. And to maximise our snooze time in the morning? A black top with a black pencil skirt is such a no-brainer combo. But don’t you sometimes just wish your everyday go-tos look more exciting? Today I tried to revise my regular workwear with a newly purchased print soft trench.
To be honest, I don’t usually eat at Entertainment Quarter. But the other night Mr. D and I were there to see Hobbit 3, so we decided to get some dinner before the movie. We got there at around 6ish, which is really early for Entertainment Quarter during the week. And Bavarian Bier Café was actually one of the busier restaurants that night.
TGIF! Fridays mean it’s fun time, it’s nights out, it’s date time. The other day I went on a movie date with Mr. D but I was in no mood to get out of my comfy jeans. So I put on this metallic crop top to turn up the volume just a notch.
Nothing says a lazy day like comfort-food delivery. The other day Mr. D was craving for some Chinese takeaway but unfortunately there wasn’t many Chinese restaurants do delivery in our neighbourhood (Very strange, I know). So we headed to Newtown to try our luck, and decided to go with Dumpling King.
The holidays are over but our holiday mood is not. The champagne glasses might have been packed away but there is no need to ditch our party dresses. What if we can restyle these items and secretly extend that holiday spirit just a little longer? As much as we girls love to get new “occasion outfits” for different parties, we did put in a lot of effort in picking these cute numbers in the first place. Ahead is how I double my Christmas dress as a dress and a top.
Happy Friday everyone! After a couple weeks of non-stop feasting (and roughly a week of cleansing), does anyone feel the craving for Asian food like I do? This is why I remember my first visit to Ippudo Central Park a while ago before Christmas now.
Happy Belated New Year! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday! For the first post of 2015, I would like to share my favourite day off style, aka T-shirt and shorts with you. And since it is the beginning of a new year, it won’t hurt to include something more sparkly. 😉
