A Play on Patterns: Blue, Green, and High Waist Jeans

DSC02638 (2)After wearing black for almost three weeks, it is time to wear something more colourful to cheer myself up. I seldom wore prints a couple years ago, but it has come to my realisation that mixing prints is a great way to create new looks with old items.

Playing with Patterns 101: pick prints from the same colour family. In this case, it is blue and green. The biker jacket and abstract floral heels were the basis of my outfit, so I styled the rest of it with other blue or green tone items, done!

I got these high waist skinny jeans from a Taiwanese online retailer called Orenda. The bow on the front reminds me of cute bunny ears, which made me put these jeans into the shopping cart the second I saw them!  The material of these is so comfy and stretchy that I felt like I was wearing jeggings!

I also love how Orenda places its price point, making it very accessible to the younger fashion savvy crowd. The only downside is that their website is in Chinese and they only offer international shipping to a few destinations. For those who do not read Chinese, you will need to get Google Translator ready before you go onto their website.

What Did I Wear

Top / Cotton On

Jacket / Peter Pilotto for Target
Heels / As Know As de Rue (i.t. Hong Kong)
