The weather in Sydney is beautiful these days. You can smell that spring is finally here, which means it is the last call for any unworn fall pieces. For a lunch date beside a park in the neighbourhood, I decided to blend in by “going green”.
I got this khaki green top from the H&M Sydney popup store earlier this month. It is from their Studio Collection for fall 2014. The top is cut in a relaxed fit but the sheerness and tassels add a touch of romance to it. Pair with some dark colour jeans for in between seasons, or swap for some light colour bottoms when the summer heat wave comes.
This reversible ring was the main reason I went to the H&M popup store. It has a white stone on one side, and can be flipped to showcase a green one on the other. How cute is that?
While I was typing this entry, I realised I have thrown a lot of my Marc by Marc Jacobs accessories into this ensemble. I always adore the mix of classics and whims in the MBMJ line, and have curated quite a few items over the years. This metallic leather clutch was designed by Marc Jacobs a couple seasons ago for the collaboration between Neiman Marcus and Target US. It is the perfect size for all my on-the-go essentials. And these MBMJ sunnies is another staple in my daily wardrobe.
It can still be quite windy in the afternoon, so layers is everything! Therefore, I am working my leather jacket overtime these days before I have to bid it farewell until next fall.
Speaking of trans-seasonal pairings, what are your go-tos at the moment?
