As aforementioned, I am currently obsessed with co-ords. The trend is still going strong and these matchy-matchy separates are ubiquitous in every major retailer’s shop and website. But just because everyone is wearing the same pre-matched sets, doesn’t mean that we have to. I started to concoct my own pairings with items I already have, and realised it is so much fun to build my own matching sets. Stop moaning about that out-of-stock co-ord crop top because you are about to create something that is even cooler. 😉
The weather in Sydney is beautiful these days. You can smell that spring is finally here, which means it is the last call for any unworn fall pieces. For a lunch date beside a park in the neighbourhood, I decided to blend in by “going green”.
Being with a chef means that not only you need to constantly watch out for your waist line (trust me, it is extremely difficult), but you also learn to cook with whatever ingredients are available in your fridge. Right after I came home from the supermarket yesterday, I realised I was out of soy sauce and salt. So I decided to whip up something quick instead of making my way back to the store.
To be honest, I have never been really that into nail polish. As much as I love all the crazy colours and interesting textures on other people’s nails, I prefer mine just the way they are. Usually I only do my nails when I am feeling a little down or annoyed (what a strange habit…). But when I saw this Sally Hansen Miracle Gel range on the shelf, I could not help myself to pick up some.
Mixing prints is high risk, high rewards. When it is done right, it can create an insanely awesome ensemble; poor execution, ugh…you will probably stay on that worst dressed list at work for months! One easy way to pull off this trend is to pick an item that has already done the hard work for you. 😉
Happy Friday! Sale news first…Sambag is having a warehouse sale up to 80% off at Waterloo. I hit there today and scored these leopard pony heels. These babies were AUD 260, and they are now on sale for AUD 50 only! For those who would like to kick off the new season with some cute leather shoes, you may want to put that in your schedule. Sale lasts till this Sunday only.
Happy Tuesday everyone! Yesterday was Mid-Autumn Festival, and as always, I never remembered to get mooncakes in advance. So Mr. D and I decided to do a last minute snowy mooncakes hunt. As it involved quite a bit of walking, I immediately fetched for my comfortable black and neutral staples.
Hi guys! I’m back! Yes, after stop writing for more than a year, I am finally back. But before we get into any boring explanations (that no one wants to hear) on why I have disappeared, I would like to share my latest (and continuous) obsession of matching sets with you.
